IF YOUR DOG IS UNSAFE OR AT RISK OF REHOMING

I understand how hard it is to access qualified and affordable help right now… and there is so much (mis)information and pseudoscience on the web!
Therefore on a limited basis I am still offering single-session virtual consults (with limited follow-up) to triage urgent behavior concerns involving aggression and other safety issues.
Examples: human bites, intra-household fights, in-home predation, escalating aggression, urgent risk of rehoming, self-mutilation / destructive behavior, refusal of needed veterinary care, etc.

The intent of these sessions is to:

• help you understand your dog’s behavior

• equip you with “band-aids” (safety guidance and / or management solutions) for immediate use

• identify and / or discuss your options for addressing critical behavior issues moving forward, including what those options may entail / require of you

• provide targeted resources / referrals based on preliminary assessment that may help save you time and treasure that is easily lost to trial-and-error in this unregulated industry

• help you avoid the pitfalls of inexpert / anecdotal training advice that can exacerbate behavior issues and / or physically or mentally harm your dog (not to mention your relationship)
  
  These sessions are intended to be a starting point; to orient you in the right direction when you require immediate assistance / input by a credentialed professional.
  They are not substitutes for comprehensive behavior assessments or complete training curriculums; are not a one-session panaceas or a cost-effective alternative to ongoing private training or behavior modification work.
